Possibly worth a couple of hundred but I am sure not worth thousands. The car was bought at auction 10 years ago. I don't even know where to begin to look. We got the car from the guy that bought it at auction.

It might not be valuble to you, but it might mean somthing. You should at least try. A Carfax could yeaild owner names and some quick google/anywho search could get a name

I'm calling .. "shenanigans!"

"honestly, I found this Picaso under the spare tire of this Viper. so I can deduct my entire fleet !" And the motor home, toter, crew.. 747 cargo jet...

I don't think it's kosher to write off stuff "found " that is not OEM or documented add ons.

Mental you along with my wife are right....I hate it when that happens. If the ring turns out to be anything other than cheap costume jewery, we will make at least an effort to find its owner.

As far as "Shenanigans" it is unlikely that this car will ever see a Challenge. We are already almost complete on our 2009 entry. (That happens when you don't complete it for 2008 .) But it does make for an interesting "what if".
