Brought home a keeper. It'll be the only one on GRM, and a car I've fawned over since before I could walk. First person to guess year/make/model gets a free die-cast car of it!

Ding ding ding! (Cheater!)
It's a 1973 AMC Javelin SST. 360 4Bbl, Auto on the floor, power disc brakes (dual piston calipers natch), HD suspension (front sway bar, stiffer springs, and a beefier rear end, unknown if it's a Twin-Grip yet). It's Trans Am Red (faded to orange LOL) with a black interior and white seats. Yes, it's on the P71's old 16's already...
You made it too easy. I saw the thread and went to the newest readers rides to look for an AMC. Less than a minute
In reply to ditchdigger:
At least I waited a few hours! Didn't think to check the thread first... You still win a free Hot Wheels Javelin.
Am I the only one here old enough to remember the Javelin commercial where a kid gets one for HS graduation.
He drives away, when he comes back it's got a chrome supercharger sticking out, open headers etc. "It's a great car Dad, I just made it better".
I couldn't find it on YouTube.

Fixed that for ya. ; )
Oh man, please, please please do a build thread. I think old AMCs are awesome and would love to see what you do to it.
Weird random tidbit of knowledge. The AMC V8s will bolt up to a lot of International Harvester drivetrains. Just in case you want to do a manual transmission swap.
Oh, and this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga6gjaEyMrA&feature=related
