But I started painting some prototype v8 Ranger conversion plates anyways.
First started with a quick cleanup with brake clean and a red scotchbrite pad flowed by a decent cleaning with a rag and acetone before hitting it with some self etch primer. Now the dry time waiting game.

I was out in the backyard this morning watching some dolphins feeding. I was wearing shorts and a tee shirt, but I agree it was a little chilly, but now it's warmed up a bit and is in the low 60's. Not sure if that is what I would call 'too cold'.
Those looks like some nice beefy plates though.

It’s maybe going to be 40 here today.
Flying to Canada Monday, driving a couple hours north of Montreal...current weather at site = 11 F

It was 2° last night. A Miata can’t drive anywhere in 3ft of snow.
I've spray painted some stuff in my basement due to it being too cold in the garage. The wife wasn't stoked about it but she'll be alright

Honestly speaking, if you say a Miata can't drive in 3ft of snow, I don't think you're trying hard enough....
Cold here too. looking forward to being able to spend more than ~20 minutes in my garage without my toes freezing through 2 layers of socks + boots..
I've painted things outside in cold weather by first bringing them (and the spray can) inside until they're warm, then going back out to spray the paint, then immediately bringing them back inside to dry. The paint job comes out fine, and you get minimal smell inside the house from the part as it dries.

That’s what I am doing. Have them hanging above the electric heater to dry.
Still too damn cold out but they’re painted.
It was 80+ here today. I had to get the fan down off the shelf to get some air moving. I can't decide if I'm happy or sad about that.

-21C here today. Colder than normal for early March.
This winter has been brutal, there is no amount of torpedo heater that will warm the concrete floors in my garage up enough for me to work under the truck for more than 15 minute intervals. Thermometer on my car said -8°F on the way to work today, I can't wait for that 50 degree shorts wether.

This is a lie. Many Adventures in Upstate New York Massachusetts and Maine in a Miata involving lots of snow
It was 75F here yesterday with tornadoes all around us and over us. Today it barely cleared 50. Tomorrow morning it will be 27. In 2 days we've cut our low temp in half.

The Jeep said -15°F this morning.
The gas fire place in the garage is set at 48°F and keeps it nice.

...and now theres a possible wintry mix in the forecast for tonight. So in one day we've gone from 75 and tornadoes to snow. On my weather app I have a flood warning, the winter weather advisory , a special weather statement about low temps Wednesday, and a warning about more possible tornados Sunday. Georgia rocks.

My CR-V was blank until it warmed up to 0. All of you in warmer weather, I hate you.
