J10 content.......

For one reason or another, IFSJA hasn't activated my account(after sending the admin a PM), and I need to know this asap

The J10 I'm looking at will be bill of sale only, then go through the indiana courts to get a title(Been there, done that.....last time it took 15 days total), anyways......I need to know where the vin plates/tags are on a 1980 J10 truck.....I found an age yellowed sticker on the inside of the drivers door frame, but didn't notice a vin plate.....perhaps I missed it?

I just need to know so I can have a LEO come out and run the numbers prior to me purchasing to a.) satisfy proof of ownership, b.) LEO inspection, and c.) odometer statement......all of those for the court and bmv process.

I thank any worth while tips in advance.

1972 - '80 all Jeep®, except 72 - '73 J-Series: The VIN number is stamped on a plate on the outer edge of the dashboard visible thru the window. It is also found stamped on the bottom line of a metal tag which is placed in the upper left(driver's side) corner of the firewall, by the hinge.
