If you can't buy one, then just build it. That's GRM isn't it?

good to see skill is not dead.. but at 65years old.. I dare say it will be soon. What a beautiful recreation!
Well Life expectancy in Germany is 79.7 Vs 78 in the US, so by being German he'll enjoy it for another 20.4 Months
I would have loved to see more detailed pics of the build but the teaser pics were great.
Think of all the work that went into building that wooden buck.
The original was at Amelia Island, and at the Sebring 12 hour. IMHO maybe the prettiest car ever made.
There are a few replicas running around. The guys at Predator Performance had and incredibly well done one at the Mitty last year.
That is a man how truely loves what he does and and whose skill, to me. is almost beyond comprehension. I know that there are shops that could build something like that but knowing that one guy did that in his garage by himself blows my mind.
The forum mentioned a kit that was made for another engine, I'd like to see that too. They said the body lines weren't exact due to the shape of the engine, but since the engine is smaller than the original I'd think the lines would only be more svelte.
