my heart goes out to his family, the duration of their struggle and his fight has to have been both emotionally and physically exhausting.
What a relief for him & his family.
I read an article last week that quoted Jules' dad as saying that Jules' condition was "worse than death" and that he & Jules had discussed Mike Schumacher's injuries, prior to Jules' accident, with Jules saying he would not want to live like that.
Godspeed Jules.
So for the past week I've been wondering, again, what would have occurred if it had been one of the top drivers who was grievously injured. Surely more than the Virtual Safety Car. If only Roland had died at Imola in '94, instead of both he & Ayrton, would we have Ratzenberger chicanes?
