So I'm planning a trip to Gary's U Pull It for monday. So far my list includes washer nozzels, looking for an exaust, a trunk release cable, and maybe a new speaker. All for a first gen neon. Any thoughts on things I should keep an eye out for while I'm out there?

Side note, I'm looking at pulling the washer nozzels from a ford, newwer ones have this cool cross spray that creates a fan effect, much nicer than just two streams of fluid.

I'm a big fan of scoring any specialized hardware that I might need later, whether it's the fasteners that secure the inner fender liners or control arm bolts.

Gary's in Hazelton.

Love the place.

Bring; a sandwich and a drink. Its huge, and it will wear you out. A snack can give you a energy burst great enough to help you find your way out. Its huge. Mopar stuff is at the FAR end.

If you have a wagon or cart for tools, bring it. They rent wagons out on hourly rate but you can bring your own no charge.

Get there early, dress in layers and enjoy!

Harry's, not Gary's.

I like the one in New Ringgold much better for myself. Not as big, but the cars tend not to be empty carcasses like at Harry's.

I desperately need to do a junkyard run but I have to watch moneys right now. I need to get spindles off a '98 Tiburon/Elantra and some 14" wheels. Oh wells, soon! I second getting the fasteners, they can come in quite handy.

asides from the exaust, anything I'm looking at is universal on first gens. but they keep neons jacked up on the muffler, so that will be interesting if i can find one.

SCORE I lucked out and found an intact DOCH exaust, washer jets and hoses, and a trunk release cable and walked out with it all for $23. Had fun carying home the cat-back, good thing for fold down seats. I couldnt get the wheel well liner because I didn't have a set of torx bits

You guys are lucky - No one up near me even operates a U-Pull-It. They don't even keep their inventory up-to-date most of the time!
