Saw this tiny van thing driving on my scooter so I couldn't get pictures.
It was old, possibly Italian, tiny, like a shrunken VW bus, had round headlights, and had a word scrawled sort of diagonally on the front that looked like it started with an "S."
Any ideas?

I don't recognize that car, aren't they LOWER W/ WIDER tires.
More likely a Subaru Sambar.

Appears to be a Subaru BRAT/Brumby. Could also be a Leone/DL/GL, hard to tell without seeing behind the driver's door.
Rats, for a minute I thought maybe you saw a Magic Iris. Not sold here, but maybe someone would import one....
It's hilarious that as soon as I read the title, I thought "Bet it was a Sambar."

But when you click on that it says Sambar 360...
