Some pics from the local county fair demo derby that I was shooting last month. My nieces and my nephew where both running in the event and did pretty bad this year. Bri was the first one on deck with her powers wheels jeep at the age of 9 years old and is is a wheelchair. She got someone to fix her jeep to move the gas pedal to the dash so she could use her hands. She had blast.
My 18 year nieces, Rusty ran a 99 Pontiac grandam and got hurt during her heat race and had a panic attack on top of the hit. She had to go to the Er later that day with a minor concussion and whiplash and bruises. Her Aunt took over the car and ran the consi and the feature larter in the day and had a blast.
My 17 year nephew Bradon ran a 1990 Lincoln Continental in the same heat as his sister. He had some one hit hi and put him onto the blocks and could not get off of them. In the consi he took a hit and broke the read axel off the car and was done. He is saving the car for next year and its still in good shape.
