If any of you have a chance to read the September issue of Cycle World you should read Kevin Cameron's column. I thought it was spot on.
In a nutshell, he was lamenting how racing used to involve grinding new ports and welding the night before a race. It now involves schmoozing with the factory to get the latest computer chips.
Ya Kevin's articles are the only reason I'll pick up the magazine theses days.
If you like that one look up a Karter named John Copeland (Fox Valley Karts?) he wrote one a few years back "where have all the Smokey's gone" or something like that.
