So I was looking at the KIA GT4 Stinger concept and I like it, but I think I've seen it before.

The thing is that the Koreans might just build it where saab would of never built that. Kia has been wanting to build a GT for some time now and I suspect we will see one like this on the road.

Despite what people think Kia and Hyundai are not the same company they just share technology and Hyundai isn't a majority owner of Kia so them building a GT to compete with Hyundai is very realistic. Also Japan only offers one, the 370z, and the Genesis is pretty much equal to that car in terms of performance.

I think if Kia build's this I would buy it. It's what we were promised but never got from the FRS. All the FT-86 concepts had a turbo engine with 300+hp and were 2800lbs. That is this car. The thing is Kia would actually build it with a turbo engine because I don't think they can make a powerful enough NA engine to compete with the BRZ unless it's that V6 which would probably be amazing in a 2800lb car. Unlike Toyota Kia would probably release a turbo version if they decided to primarily sell a NA version.

Kia's cars look nice, i suspect this car will look great in production but no way it has those lights.

E36 M3 like this shows how far behind Japanese companies are. 370z and Lexus IS350 are LEAGUES behind. It's sad I had to use a 4 door luxury example to find ONE OTHER car that compares to this even in the slighest from Japan because this is just completely out of class above the FRS.

Attention Toyota and Honda:

The idea, according to Loveless, is to get back to the glory days of the sports car and away from computer assistance when it comes to driving.

That's how you make a good car that doesn't cost $100,000

Umm... I know I'm the resident Korean fanboi and all.... but holy berkeleying E36 M3! Where do I send the check? Yes, I know this is going to result in a divorce and I don't care.

Hy/Kia already have a 200hp, 180ft-lb 4-cyl n/a engine. That would easily compete with the Frizbee in a light chassis. but they also have plenty of turbo engines on the drawing board and in production that it wouldn't be a stretch for them to install one.
