92 Civic.
13x8 wheels + 4 off set.
Koni reds
GC 390ft. / 430 rear
no front bar
SiR rear bar.
poly bushings.
I have 10 tires total. Both about 1.5 yrs old. Both worn about 1/2
The Kumho's are 235/45-13
The Hoosiers are 225/45/13
This is for my challenge car.
I would go hoosiers if you aren't worried about overall height (the hoosiers are going to be slightly shorter than the kumho, giving you off the line accelleration, but if you are autoxing, it may keep you from having to shift to third if you had a taller tire... )
Hoosiers run wide. I don't have time to look up the specs at the moment but I wouldnt be surprised if the 225 hoosier was as wide or WIDER than the 235 kumho.

+1, I can confirm this as well.
Ah, I didnt even realize you were talking about the V700. This tire is a streetable rain tire, not an all out auto-x tire like the A6 or V710
a quick thread jack (sorry) but would the V710 work for a track day tire on a 2000# car ?
thank you, now back to your regularly scheduled programing....

So It sounds like I will be using the hoosiers.
In reply to wbjones:
Yes, V710's do just fine on track

I'd make or get some tractionizer -- they seem to lose their edge after too many heat cycles.
