I've found lots of video of it, but does anyone know of/have video with input overlay? Like throttle position and all that? I was driving it on Sunday, but I drove it really carefully. Into turn 6 by the end I was doing a slight lift, I think I could throttle through, but that would probably be changed by taking turn 5 MUCH better. The point being, I really need an instructor, and will try to get one when NASA runs it, but in the meantime having actually driven it I think some video would help.
I did a ride along with a good drive in a Lotus Elise (thanks Jeff!), he was very fast and though still a momentum car, it didn't seem to reflect my braking points etc (he built more speed more quickly, especially up the hill after turn 6). It did help me clean up my lines, but I think I would like to see what a great driver in a miata would do.
In other news I used to think my Civic was slow... I have a new definition of slow, hahaha. That hill after turn 6 might as well have been a mountain. Great fun though, rotating with the throttle through turn 2 was sooooo much fun. I think me and the miata are building a bit of trust.
