Anyone have a name of a company that would ship a large truck from Florida to Ohio?

Any guess on what it might cost a mile?

Probably cost as much as driving it home.....and driving it sounds like an adventure.

Cheap car hauling is usually done with meduim duty trucks like a Dodge/Cummins dually with a 3 car tailer like this

But, I dont think you''ll fit on this trailer, even if you took two spots.  Just too heavy.

You might be too much for this type tailer either:

You wont fit on the big 8 car haulers either:

I think you will require a real Class 8 semi but with a flat trailer that can be driven upon where as most flat beds require fork lifting loads on.

I then speculate $3 per mile and located in North Metro Tampa puts it about 1100 miles from you.

To get an answer you're gonna need to know what it weighs, how long it is, and how tall it is.

Close the deal quickly enough and have Stampie drive it North.  He's heading your way this weekend.....

$304 for a one way ticket, 3 nights in hotels, 1070 miles at 6mpg (178 gallons) at god knows what but maybe another G in fuel. Looks like you are in at $1700 to get it home and you get a heck of a story for free.

A long haul tow company could handle it. I have no idea of the cost, but I know one of the companies on Highway Through Hell has Texas to Vancouver hauls so it is possible.

I think you're looking at it the wrong way. That's the tow pig for a transport, not the freight. Find a bed and/or trailer and something(s) to haul back.

Thanks for the input everyone. I messaged the guy to see if he would ship it.  But I don't want to spend 3,500 on the shipping.

however even with the shipping it would probably be less cost than building your own crew cab version of one of these

Bummer that it is so far away. I don't have the time right now for the adventure of a fly and drive.

Love the idea. But probably not enough time to make it happen. Also I don't think I would ask someone to drive an unknown vehicle for my benefit that far ha ha.

Super long shot but maybe get ahold of the youtuber Vise Grip Garage...he normally buys things of unknown condition and drives them home. Used to be out of MN but just moved to TN so it might work, who knows?
