I'd like to solve several of my problems by spacing front subframe down. This will require much longer bolts to go through the chassis horns and then some kinda spacer needs made to fill the gap. I'm thinking about 1" spacing, That way I don't throw my pickup points way off.

Where does one even get super long, sturdy grade bolts? Anyone ever done this?

stuff like those Bolts can be found at McMasters or here (N.Atl.) use Threads of the South In Marietta Ga. not really Home depot stuff and you May luck out at an Ace Hardware or Tractor Supply. Save the Time and stress go with a warehouse If you know what you want they useally have it.

a simple 1"lift kit seems like it should all have you need,A/Z to O'Rielly's Rock auto.

We just raised up a subframe to improve suspension geometry.

Check your roll centers if doing this.

If motor-driven fan, make sure it doesn't hit shroud.

When I put the lt1 in my 240sx I put spacers in between subframe \ crossmember. I stepped up from 10mm bolts to 1/2" grade 8 with extra large nuts that took a 1" socket.
