Targas are almost unloved these days. The magnesium case 2.7 needs to be approached with extreme caution but is a great engine if the studs are still in the cases.

I can tell you from personal experience I'd rather have one with a bunch of Webers than Bosch EFI. While the latter is probably more reliable, the throttle response of the former will awaken your soul.

911s are difficult cars to drive, but when you master them...oh boy.

I don't find early 911s to be that difficult on the limit. Yes there is the pendulum effect but it's a known thing.

I prefer the 70s 911s over the newer ones but it is really hard to justify the current prices.
