White is the best color ... proud owner of a '91. Can't remember the last time I saw stock wheels on an SE-R. I sold mine a while back and upgraded to 15" rpf-1's... made it easier to find performance tires, though even those are getting harder to find. You can upgrade your brakes using the stockers from an nx2k. Solid motor mounts, clean out the egr tube and throttle body, re-ground the maf... geez, there really are a lot of little things to do with the car to "sharpen" it up.

It's a damn fun car to drive, even stock.

Seriously guys, quit reminding me how awesome these cars are. My old '91 beater will be in the April LeMons Race with its new owners

I had way too much fun doing autox and rallyx with mine in basically bone-stock, 250k mile daily driver configuration.

These guys make a nice cold air intake for the cars and have some nice suspenion pieces as well. I have thier control arm brace.

You can find ecu's pretty cheap- less than $50. You can then send it out to be reprogrammed. I had mine done with a Calum NA tune and it smoothed things out. A guy with the tag- OLDMAN on the dash did the reprogram for a little over a $100.

Most people on a budget will get the SSAC copy header off of ebay. The energy suspension bushings are a nice upgrade from stock. Even if you don't do them all, the shifter bushing is a must and costs only a few bucks.

The cars structure is pretty flimsy stock so front and rear strut bars go a long way to tightening things up. You can even get front fenders braces.

The B14 SE-R wheels are the cheapest upgrade from the 14" stockers. They can be had cheaply (around $200-250) and you get to pick from many nice 205/50/15 tires.
