Heh, so help a non-truck guy. Is 9" < Dana 60 < Dana ?? (out of the 3/4 ton)?

That was typically Ford's thinking back then....

Thanks.

Still waffling a bit. The choice is sell the civic and track the MS3 or buy the truck and tow/track the civic. The track days run into December in SoCal. so there is no shortage of them....

If you haven't paid your yearly registration fees (tax? etc) they stack I believe. They back up until you try to get valid tags or ???. I have no experience with it, but it's mentioned in all used ads I've looked at (no back vs $$$). I've seen several trucks where the cost of the truck was equal with the cost of the back fees.

i love the old f100's i used a 76 with a 300i6 to tow my capri. Hard to find a clean one in this area but aside from rust i have never had any big issues with any of the 70's ford trucks.

I asked for opinions on the ford-trucks.com forum and they're convinced it's an f-250, lol. Pretty much same opinion there, it's got f-250 wheels and rear axle. I suppose that makes the front brakes f250 as well? Get it if the bed and not perfectly straight front end don't bother me, so I'll probably get it.

You guys were spot on, it's an f250 chassis with a f100 cab+vin. That is a positive thing though, better for towing.
