Okay kids, it's time to program dads BCr clock again.

What is the best value in Bluetooth OBD2 IOS capable code readers and apps?

Must communicate with 2012 Ford Focus, 2012 Chevrolet Cruze and 2004 Mazda RX8.

On recommendation I purchased this one- https://www.amazon.com/Veepeak-Bluetooth-Scanner-Automotive-Diagnostic/dp/B011NSX27A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485882978&sr=8-1&keywords=bluetooth+obd

And then downloaded the BOD Fusion App (I think it's 10 bucks). Used it on my 99 4Runner, super simple setup. Live monitoring, allowed me to clear codes and figure out some plugs I forgot to reconnect. I really like it.

The last time I had looked into IOS ob2 scanners, wifi dongles were the ones to work with. Bluetooth was only possible with jailbroken iphones.

That said, I had purchased a wifi obd2 scanner for paltry sum of $12. Works well. The low budget app I chose was EngineLink. The developer keeps it updated. It can read and reset codes.

The holy grail ios obd2 app is Harry's Lap Timer Grand Prix.

I'll update the thread once I dig through me amazon buying history to find the wifi obd2 reader i bought.
