I think the Audi transaxle looks very interesting for a street driven car.. I doubt it will take the torque a full out racing V12 will put out. Besides for racing you don't want syncros rather a dog ring assembly.

Yes and no. 

The Jaguar transmission is a turbo 400 but not the weak one used in cars. It has all the heavy duty stuff you find in ambulances and tow trucks. 

The alignment pins are the same as every Chevy  but the bolt pattern suits the Jaguar 

adapting a 4/5/6 speed manual transmission is relatively easy to DIY or extremely expensive if you buy the kit.
