Looking at what others have done. A quick google, and I Can’t see anything out there. I know the windshield would have to stay in place. And maybe just a front end swap, but not a kit car, since they cost plenty (though I’ll likely be around that much anyways once I’m finished.) 

fyi- this is just a Friday morning day dream while I take a knee, and run out the clock for the weekend.

The front end of that is just a TVR. The back end is hideous. And it’s dumb expensive. I’m looking to do a “NASCARLO” like roadkill. Something I can just hack and slash and weld to make it look “alright”

Measure from the front axle to the middle of the front seat bottoms.  This measurement needs to be pretty close for both the donor and the recipient.

 

In the same vein, measure the distance between the center of the two front seats ( width) and compare. More than 2 or 3 inches and it get challenging to fit stuff. Stuff like people.

 

Track is important only if you are reluctant to use fender flares.

 

MGB would be a good candidate for a Miata chassis, but the side-side measurement means you have a hard time fitting stock width Miata seats between the doors. You cant go too far inward because of the Miata's big tunnel. The Miata and MGB share a very close wheelbase.

i know I saw Keith’s old thread about his MGB, he said it’s 4” narrower than the Miata  but if I could graft just the front end in and then worry about the back half...
