2010 mazda5. Drains are clogged yet again, and leaking aroung where the rubber meets the nipple. Instead of pulling the headliner again, i want to seal the berkeleyer permanently shut and disconnect the switch. We never open it anyway.

How do i do this? Or, is there a less nuclear option im missing?

I used black 3M windshield sealant on the '95 BMW e34touring w/ panorama roof with 100% success.

Just be careful and neat, it's a messy chore to remove any excess.

Db13 does the entire headliner need to be pulled? I have a sneaking suspicion that the drain is clogged on the rear passenger side of the "V".

On the mazda5 it does due to no access. Dunno about the ctsv though. You may be able to flex it down and fiddle with it.
