I don't know if I want to go down the path of adding a turbo to a car, but I do like those cars. I actually saw a decent IS on FB Marketplace the other day for a reasonable price. It's definitely a car to add to my list, thanks!
The seller seems to recondition and flip Volvos. He's active in a few groups that I'm in, though I've never directly dealt with him, but he seems to have a V50 T5 AWD every few weeks. I'd consider reaching out to him about the platform and seeing if it would be a fit for you.
