After our successful outing at the Dixie National Tour, we started the teardown process to install the differential from Small Fortune Racing. The SFR carrier assembly is used to house a Wavetrac differential that was originally intended for a Volkswagen Golf.

That differential housing is a neat bit of engineering. Do you have more detailed pictures of how the bearings are housed? I checked out SFR's site and couldn't find anything.

The bearings press into the trapezoidal side plates. I can take more pictures before we do the final install. The mounts have been tacked in so that it's lined up with the engine sprocket and we removed the engine today so we could reinforce/clean/weld/paint the rear framework.

and perhaps weld in mounts for a ZX-10? What type of paint on the frame? Epoxy?
