Just checked the practice times, Audi is 1-2-3 as expected. Think Toyota is sandbagging for the race?

I have already explained to my wife how much TV I will be watching this weekend. On a related note I was able to get a pic of my two boys with Patrick Long last Friday.
2 Audi on the pole so far, lap time 3:22.349. 38 minutes into the first qualifying session. Fastest Toyota #7 of Lapierre with 3.26.676. Something wouldn't let my posts display... Weird
Another Audi domination it seems like. We had free HBO/Cinemax last week and my wife crammed with DVR with movies. I was like do you know what next weekend is? I don't care if we watch it live from start to finish, it needs to be recording in case we go do something!

This. Wasn't Toyota given something like 3L additional fuel capacity because the organizers expected Audi to be faster?
In the commentaries I've heard, it sounds like everyone expects Audi to be faster in terms of lap times, but Toyota might be able to stretch pit stops for tire and fuel a bit further.
In reply to JohnyHachi6: They've always thought the Audi's could only go so far, but I swear they can lean/enrich them from in the car. Catch them at night with lights behind them and they'll be blowing black smoke(unburnt fuel)
Funny. I only care about prototypes in the actual LeMans race. The rest of the time I only care about GT.
I'd like to see how things pan out with 2 new GTE competitors this year - Viper and the 991 chassis Porsche.
In reply to z31maniac:
They ran both cars in quali, but only one was competitive - maybe the other was still missing the steering wheel?
2nd session of night qualifying under way, only 17 cars have posted lap times so far. I believe the Lotus Group issue was resolved, i'll see what news i can get from the ACO website. Looks like they had some rain at the start of the session
Just ended the 2nd session under a red flag, damage to the guardrail at Indianapolis. Final qualifying session starts at 9:30 pm local time (3:30 EDT)
Lotus is now filing criminal charges against the shiny happy person who had their cars disassembled in the first place. Man, what a crazy story!
In reply to yamaha:
The news stories I read stated that one of the sponsors faked invoices to show the team/builders owed him money, and had the car bits taken. The charge was thrown out and parts returned when the truth came out (Mr. Sponsor owes the team/builders a ton). Now criminal charges. I bet that logo/decal is gone from the car, too...

The lotus team filed a criminal complaint agaisnt ADESS......who built their cars.......if I wasn't clear enough the first time.
In reply to yamaha:
I read it as the CEO Stéphane Chosse was going at it alone, not necessarily ADESS themselves, yes/no?
It certainly is a weird situation.
