That Volvo looks very clean
This is relevant to my interests. My son was just talking about flipping cars today - a friend on his team flips and seems to do pretty well for himself for a junior in HS.
In reply to pimpm3: How would it look if you added a pinstripe to divide the gloss and flat reds. Maybe something to blend with the interior color. Not sure about that, just an idea.

Note to self: figure out what plastic dip has become. I dipped tool handles in something by the same name about 25 years ago.
Super custom pin stripe....
Waiting to hear back from the shop as to what it will take to fix exhaust leak and the A/C. When it is finished I will put it on craigslist and update the thread.

I had a black probe gt with similar clear coat issues. I used a razor blade to get rid of the flaking clear around the edges, feathered it all around, touched up the really thin areas of base with rattle-can duplicolor, then shot the uncleared areas with duplicolor rattle-can clear. Your way was easier, but the result I got was surprisingly good. Forum member Joey48442 bought that car from me.

I will keep that in mind and try that next time the opportunity presents itself. Thanks for the tip.
$1067.93 + $390.00 used A/C compressor, Tune up, New Muffler = $1457.93
Listed it on Craigslist for $2500.00 two weeks ago.
Sold it yesterday for $2100.00
$2100 - $1457.93 = $642.07 Not the biggest profit but I will take it. I had about 5 hours labor all in for cleaning, paint and running to mechanic / selling car etc..
