You never know who you'll run into in our little world. Three of Eddie Hill's Ariel Atoms can be found in the Readers' Rides section of our website: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/reader-rides/garage/FourFather/

Holy cow! I remember watching Eddie Hill in Top Fuel as a kid in Gainesville for the Gatornationals. It is really nice to know that he is still racing, and turning corners now to boot!
Welcome Eddie!
THAT IS AWESOME!
A very warm welcome to one of my favorite drag racers of all time!

That's great! Maybe Eddie can convince Jay Leno to expose his screen name!
The first man to make a 4 second pass. Wow. Welcome, Mr Hill.

WOW! THE Eddie Hill!! That's amazing. I remember being very sad when he explained how hard it was to keep the TFD anywhere close to the minimum class weight without making everything out of $$$ material. Eddie and Ercie were a fixture on the strip for a long time. Gotta love that we was the fastest man on water but couldn't swim!
Welcome!
Welcome Eddie.
Long time fan.

Long live the FourFather ;)
Awesome! Saw him out at Hallett running his ATOM at a track day, but I didn't want to bother him to say hi.

Inventor of the burnout! That alone is a claim to fame, then look at all the rest.
Welcome aboard Eddie!
Wow, I feel like I need to change my screen name now....
Welcome aboard sir!
Favorite Eddie story, which I remember from American Sports Cavalcade I think, so that is a while ago. Memory could be iffy, but here goes. Eddie and crew chief Fuzzy Carter were running top fuel drag boats, and Eddie had a vicious crash. They had no explanation for the crash, so they quit boats and went top fuel drag racing because its safer.
Safety is a relative term, I guess.
That's one of those names you hear and you think....Oh wow I remember him!! Great to hear all is well Eddie, sure did enjoy watching you way back when.
It's good to see that folks outside of North Central Texas remember Eddie Hill, too!
Wow, talk about a trip down memory lane! When my parents and I made our first vacation trip out West, we were in Amarillo on a weekend and learned that they had drag races scheduled for the next day. We stayed over so we could go watch - this was really early 1960's. The two things I remember about that day were Eddie Hill's dragster and a wicked black Plymouth Super Stock run by a dealer named (if I remember) Fenner Tubbs. I've long been a fan of Eddie's - glad to see he's still racing!!

I'm from Dallas, so I heard Fast Eddie's name a lot growing up. It's neat that he would hang out here.
