Tempe isn't THAT far from SoCal...unless of course the car overheats in a few miles.
It's got a bad head gasket - price seems a bit high for a car that "needs work" but presuming that's all it is, it's a neat looking car, and I always thought these were cool.
But it would be hard to justify, since I still have the 320i in pieces and need to get it running.
And I have the Miata.
Still, I sure would like it...

Heh. I used to get pulled over all the time when I was a kid driving my z-cars. Skinny white guy with long hair in a sports car. I guess that was one of the profiles back then.
Might not even be a head gasket. Fan relays go bad on those things, and a non-spinning engine bay fan will do the exact same thing.
