Foul. Only actual vehicles that have been or ever will be produced. Some some ego maniacs delusional wet dream that will never see production looking anything remotely like that.

Say what you will about the man, I think it's pretty foolish to doubt him at this point.
The vehicross looked a lot better in person and was WAY ahead of it's time. Like this, the thing still looks current.

I did something similar at a show years ago, and felt pretty bad after I realized the owner of the car heard me. Since then I've tried to refrain from calling someone else's car ugly - if they like it, that's all that matters.

Mainly joking but the production vehicle will look nothing like that. He's a berkeleying genius and has built a very impressive house of cards. Space X completely rocks though.
He's given the whole industry a serious, and very needed, shake up and shown the world what's possible. The problem is the cars, other than their acceleration, aren't that great. Their fit, finish quality would have had the automotive press crucifying GM 20 years ago, let alone today.

Agreed, it is just such an awkward combination of odd styling cues that don't form a cohesive whole. I'm glad to hear that some others feel this way, confirming that I'm not crazy. I can almost kind-of appreciate the clean lines from the side of the door to the rear fender and around the trunk, but then the greenhouse (especially the C pillar, rear 3/4 window) look like they are for a different car, and then the protruding front fenders and front bumper look like they should be on yet another different design, and then there's the headlights...
Infiniti has made some cars with varying degrees of blandness and unpleasantness but every time I see the beluga whale looking or the bubble shaped SUVs I am struck by the fact that they are the ugliest things currently on the road

Does it have a El Camino backside?
And yours is generally a flattering color and angle. This is less flattering...
Saw a picture of one of these a while ago. Can't figure out how they managed to cross a Lotus 7 and a snail.
I used to think This:
but time and a bumper tuck have it growing on me.
yep, this is as ugly as the one my buddy had in high school.
But, darn it, the JDM one...

Disagree! I was 6 years old when the Prowler debuted in Detroit. I thought it was awesome. As we all know, young children preside over the high court of automotive styling :P
FWIW I think the Vehicross is cool too and I don’t mind the egg-inspired Taurus, although I do think it works better in wagon form. Maybe I’m just sick in the head.
Also, three pages in and no one’s mentioned the Edsel? oo_V_oo

Hey, at least give them credit for fixing it with the redesign.... you know when they went with the split windshield:

The best thing that can be said about this era is that Chrysler was willing to take chances. I love this sucker.
In reply to Tony Sestito :
Taurus has a 'hitler' rear spoiler? wtf is wrong with you! I totally dig the jelly bean taurus SHO V8 specifically, not even CLOSE to being ugliest. The others, yep.
I haven't got to the end yet so haven't seen it yet, but the early 60's dart was quite hideous IMO.
The Suzuki X90 is also up there on the list.
It is like they took the coolest-car-ever 2-door Rav4 convertible and found every way possible to ruin it.
