What is the best product to use for cleaning a Lexan windshield to keep from scratching it? Also is there a product similar to Rain-X that is safe to use on Lexan? Thanks!

Plexus. It's what it was made for. http://www.amazon.com/Plexus-Plastic-Cleaner-Protectant-13-Ounce/dp/B00092CKN4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1389310002&sr=8-3&keywords=plexus+cleaner
+1 for water. The problem with polishes is that they're very similar to wax. Gummy, nasty, a pain in the ass. This stuff is the best "cleaner" I've dealt with, if you don't need to polish:

If you do need to polish, Novus.
Plexus will leave a non static coating that also beads water for a short time. I use it on my helmet on the road race bike and we race in the rain, I get 8 laps at Loudon with out a problem. Nice thing is it doesn't build up of yellow the lexan.
^ I found that one out decades ago.
And, while I know tomatoes may be hurled in my general direction for this... if you are a tad lazy and want to get another week out of a so-bad-it-should-be-replaced pitted windshield, hit it with one of those headlight restoration kits with the buffer. It can get you by for another meet or two.
