Spotted and followed a yellow LFA in Annapolis MD (Rt2 near Edgewater for you locals) today
Lovely sound and hats off to whoever was flogging it out of town
Had dealer/demonstrator tags on it.
Unfortunately I didn't have the presence of mind to get out my phone for a worthless pic ;)

A recent driver impression of an LFA - http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=88280
I have not had the pleasure to drive one, but I have heard one at close quarters. They sound magnificent!
We had one come out the the GA Tech car show earlier this spring - amazing piece of work. Now they just need to take that same idea and make a $25,000-$35,000 version for toyota/scion.
Reading that almost made me shed a tear. Mostly because I was hoping that the car wouldn't be that perfect, but now I actually feel bad that I will likely never have the chance to drive such an awesome machine.

totally unrelated, but Adam's (The Place For Ribs) on Mayo Rd in Edgewater is my absolute favorite rib joint on the planet.

Saw it there, and it comes to Caffeine and Octane up in Alpharetta. I wasn't wow'd by the styling, it's actually quite understated for how impressive the car is, but nothing prepares you for what that engine sounds like. I mean I thought I was at the Monaco Grand Prix, it makes Ferraris sound raspy...

+eleventybillion, prior to reading that review I wasn't all that impressed with the LFA, but after reading what that guy had to say... there's not many people I wouldn't body check in a race to get an hour on track with one, if Lexus were offering...

Maybe offer a Subaru version as well?
Some will probably hate me but I much prefer the New Nissan GTR. I have seen both in person and the LFA just did not do it for me. The GTR is not exactly what I look for in style either but I like it better. Then there is cost. I know the GTR is about 100K what does a LFA go for 300-400K?
I'd agree that the car looks a bit understated for its capabilities, but in a world where Lamborghini and Ferrari are trying to outdo each other in outrageous styling, it's nice to see a supercar that has restraint in the exterior design. I think it will age well.
And the exhaust note is indeed truly amazing.

That is exactly why if I had the money I wouldn't buy a LFA. It looks boring compared to a Lambo.
All that fancy prose and the guy couldn't get a lap time!
It's very cool, but IMO the styling's not in line with the price point. Nothing fundamentally wrong with it, but lined up next to the top cars of the world I think "Supra with a body kit" before I think Supercar".
We saw a McLaren MP4-12C on the interstate last week, in the desert between Grand Junction and Moab. It had a minivan buzzing around it with a camera crew hanging out the side. Not a dramatic looking car, even in white or yellow or whatever it was. Looks like a car named after a vacuum cleaner as opposed to one named after a legendary bull.
