Does the Lexus V8 share bolt patterns with any of Toyotas other engines? Specifically V6s.

Pictures and or diagrams would be appreciated if anyone has access.

As far as I know, no it doesn't. Toyota has a bad habit of each block having its own bolt pattern.

There's a Lexus V8 forum that is loaded with info. http://www.lextreme.com/forums/ I don't know if a diagram is available, but if there is one, that's where to find it. Phil Bradshaw, king of the RWD 4AGE conversion, is also king of the RWD 1UZFE. Look for his guide.

I haven't heard or been able to find any V6s sharing the bolt pattern.

However, i think the 7mgte shares it, as they both use the same auto tranny, but there are no manual transmissions that bolt up to the 4.0/4.3 litre Lexus V8 if that's what you're asking.

Adapters are needed.

(EDIT)

My apologies, it seems the auto transmissions are not exactly the same. The Lexus unit has an "E" designation.

If I recall, the transmissions in the Supra have a different bell housing than the ones in the Lexus. I seem to remember that you can take the Supra box and the bell housing from the trans for the LS400 and put them together. Also, the input shafts are different and need to be swapped out or something. Some fabbing may be needed. That lexstreme site has the details. Remember that the starter on the 1uzfe is up on top under the intake manifold. Also remember that the only thing that ever goes wrong on a LS400 is the starter solenoid. That was a phun job.

The easy way is to buy a bell housing or an adapter plate. I think Phil sells one or both to put a 1uzfe in front of a W55 transmission.

I still have this 92 Truck with a blown motor sitting next to the shed....

I was thinking a little less longitudinal... a little more transverse... ;)

Hoooooboyyyy.....

Welp. E153 and an adapter plate is my ONLY suggestion. I don't see any of the other "FWD" transmissions holding up to that motor.

Nothing will bolt up.

On the plus side, if you manage to kill an E153, i'll buy you a case of beer.
