2003 Vibe GT, a little worn around the edges but a killer little car. I use it a lot for hauling my mountain bike and kiddo out to the trails. There have been a few times where I've given the hitch (for the bike rack) a real good bonk as it seems to hang far too low for the vehicle design, not a huge deal, but it got me thinking about how much fun this thing might be if I didn't have to crawl around on these USFS roads.

So I ask the internet: "Hey internet, has anyone lifted a Vibe?"

The internet replies:

There are varying thicknesses of these, but oh boy, it really got the creative juices flowing.

How bad (or good) of an idea is a set of these (OKAY, maybe not in 40mm), plus some slightly stiffer OEM type struts, to build a little ugly car that has less of a chance to bang into stuff as I use it not for it's intended purpose while I try to track down my unicorn J100 chassis in my price range.
