Friend has 2009 Acura RDX (smaller of Acura's SUV/trucklet things). It's got 120,000 miles on it and the rear struts are making the tires wear cupped.
Any recommendations for moderately-priced replacement struts? The car is mostly used on the highway, never does anything harder than soft-roading to a kayak launch or bike trail.
Thanks.
I have Bilsteins on my Trooper.
I'm not much help, am I?
With my experience looking for struts for my MDX, you're selection is probably KYB, KYB, or OEM

That seems to be the case. AutohausAZ even lists KYB as the OEM rear shock. Usually they list things as "OES" if they are a stock-like replacement. Thanks!
My cheap answer is FCS Struts. They are China made brand that I get from my local parts house.
I picked up 4 for a Taurus for $69 each for the whole loaded strut.
Here is an online example that would have been $51 each with shipping to me if I known but then I would had to wait.

I checked, they do not have a fitment for a RDX.
As far as quality...they are better than the blown units I had and for a price less than just inserts, I got the whole assembly. 3 year warranty.

Yeah, Rock Auto has only KYB GR2s for about $59 per side; $61 at Tire Rack. I emailed Rosenthal Acura to see how much OEM shocks will be, because he's that kind of guy sometimes.
$79.10 Through me plus shipping for new struts. Retail is $105.46 EACH.
