I see that Tim is entered in Group 10!
Is anyone else from the boards going this year? To watch or race? I'll be there Monday to watch the action. Its always a fun time at LimeRock!

I'll be there but just spectating.
I'm running the NJMP Historics in three weeks....otherwise, I would have run it.
If weather is real nice, we might drive up in our white MGB roadster (otherwise, we'll have a 3 year old Accord that will be effectively invisible).
We'll be hanging out with the Elva guys or Knorr's Midget or Girvin's Allard. I have about a dozen friends racing there that weekend.
I went Saturday. Watched my friend George and his crew do an excellent emergency clutch swap between sessions....good work!
Also, saw this familiar TR3.

And Lots of crazy / interesting "Specials":
From a spectator's view, this is a great event. Lots of neat cars.
But from a racer's view, this isn't the best deal. It's $450 for two days of racing. Each day you get about 30 minutes of track time. The "no racing on Sunday" rule means you have to hang out (and maybe pay for a hotel room) for an extra day.
I'll be racing with VRG at NJMP on Sept 22-23.
Much more track time for about $100 less and MUCH cheaper and closer hotels. Plus an airshow. Less pomp-and-circumstance and no famous guys to sign autographs, but I don't care about that so much.
We ended up going on Monday. It was a blast! I met Tim briefly while he was talking with his crew in the paddock - real nice guy! He was really driving well, winning the final race on Sunday managing both lapped traffic and a close competitor.
Neat pictures of Tim, thanks!! He was over-the-top happy after winning his group, said it was a great bunch of competitors.
