We finally finished the ABS delete on the Lincoln. Normally we wouldn't delete ABS—prevents flatspotting tires, ya know—but the ABS was already nonfunctional. It was also some bizarro system with a pressure accumulator and god knows what else. Hooray for vacuum boosters and foot-modulated brakes!

Is it my imagination or has that Lincoln been an over-optimistic, good on paper, horrible in person race car decisions. I mean every other article or mention on this thing is how this didn't work that was garbage, this was swill. I guess I notice because our XR4 was the same way...
