Very rare car. They had BMW diesels!
I would some day like to get ahold of one of these but at 6K that's to much! I would only want the engine and not the car so a rust bucket with the diesel would be preferred and not this "nice" Mk.
If it weren't $6,000, I'd be tempted to see if a built M52 would be close to a bolt in.
The only good thing about those cars were they are emissions exempt.
I wouldn't mind having one for the novelty but yeah, it's just a tad overpriced. If it were a challenge friendly price I'd be dangerously interested.
