Lincoln's entire line really impresses me right now. Great design language across the board.

We really liked the Navigator we saw at the Autoshow.  It was too bloody expensive though.  Sorry.

Lincoln should offer a  "Gustave Whitehead" special edition of the Aviator. This would be to celebrate the original Aviator!

I'd love to! Just write me the check for the purchase price. I mean, just because I like the design language of the current supermodels doesn't mean I can afford to bring one home!

It is amazing in the flesh.  The interior is truly a magical place to be.  Since Ford E36 M3canned me though I won't be buying one even if I had the money!

Was in a Mazda/Nissan showroom today.  The 3 had gorgeous brown leather interior and a great dash.  The CX-? they had was hideous and bloated with a dull interior. The Pathfinder seemed meh.

The Rogue on the other end had a really great interior like the 3.  Same sort of dash/brownish leather look.

And why did all the vehicles have really dark tint on the rear doors and hatch?  Both marques. That was overkill.

Overall I'd take a 'small' car like the 3 and I don't care for Mazdas.

I'm tempted next year to order a black Mazda Miata with that brown nappa interior.

Never knew that car existed.

I think most of the planet didn't. I'll be putting them on my radar, that's for sure. That thing moves.

Lincoln's recent trend of making ridiculously overpowered luxury cars and basically not telling anyone about them has me intrigued, I must admit. I do wonder why they don't have a dedicated performance line like Cadillac's V, BMW's M, Lexus' F, and so on.

I can answer that.  Lincoln is all about American luxury and 'quite flight'  They very purposefully don't want to try and out German the Germans like Caddy are trying too.  Caddy are doing an OK to great job at trying to focus on sportiness and RIng times.  Lincoln don't want to try and compete with that.  It's all about luxury not being overtly sporting, that's too crowded a marketplace.  Also Lincoln is doing well in China compared to the rest of Ford.

The hybrid drivetrain is very interesting to me. I could do 1/2-2/3 of my normal daily driving with 20 miles of range. Waiting to see what they say about towing and in general living with it. I hope the drivetrain makes it to other models as well. I do love me some plug in hybrids.

They want to play in this space they need to lease like a equivalent BMW or Merede and they do not do that.

I have heard that the little hybrid sedan is actually still there number one seller.
