Still a comfortable “just drive around” car. :)

That sums it up nicely. I agree - it's a sporty car that you can enjoy every day you drive it.

What kind of car is that?

It’s a 5.

How do you know?

Big 5 on the side of it.

And, also, on the back of it.

I don't know if it is the super tall belt line or just the cars proportions but the latest 5 & 7 make even the biggest wheel package look small.  One with 19" wheels will make you think they are 14's.  I still do not like bmw's new interior design from the Buick window switch for a shifter to the tablet dash with touch screen everything

In reply to Caperix :

I’d like a few more physical controls, too, specifically for the HVAC. Want more fan or less? Gotta head into the menu.

I have warmed up to the shifter, though. I’ll take this over a knob or buttons.

Some back seat talk:

Deep seats–like can’t recall back seats this deep in a while. Panamera, maybe? Comfy but deep. Make sure your rear seat passengers are cool with that.

Rear seat passengers get some USB action, though.

And this is me seeing behind me. (I’m about 5-foot-8 on a good day. Or am I 5-7?)

The 530i passed the Waffle House test. :)
