Wouldn't be a Rolex without 1am tire change viewing!

Definitely felt weird not doing a Midnight Tour. We have friends in town for the race, though, so they got a personal experience.
Another thing for this year: no infield parking for us.
I have media parking, so Lot 6 outside the back straight. I can take the tram in and out. No biggie.
My wife parked at the mall. It’s a bit of a walk, but it’s also free.
Our friends from out of town also parked at the mall.
We all just left the Speedway: My friend parked four spots away from my wife’s Civic Si.
No photo vest?
No problem.
Open up the aperture, line up the lens with a gap in the fence, and get a little lucky.
Some pics from Saturday morning.
PCA tent to start. (Sorry not many photos as we were talking shop most of the time.)
I woke up this am ready to head out on my traditional sunrise walk through the tri-oval at the base of the main grandstands.
And then realized I was at home this year. Sigh.
Time for some coffee...
In reply to Andy Hollis :
It was strange not seeing your RV parked next to the GRM booth on the infield this year.
Anyone know of a play by play site? I know there's one site out there with hourly updates but the info is limited.
Just trying to figure out what happened to the 02 in LMP2. They were on pole and run in up front and are now a lap down.

I have been listening to IMSA Radio while walking around the infield and it's kept me pretty up to date.
In reply to alfadriver :
The two factory cars are still out on track, the customer car looks to be retired.
In reply to Chris Tropea :
When I went to bed, one was in the lead, and it's now 3 laps down. Something must have broke.
edit- I see that the 65 is suffering a wing support failure. Seeing how floppy it was at the beginning, not a surprise.
