I know this car is somewhere around $8k more but can you guys compare/contrast with the Elantra N a little bit? I know GRM has spent some time with that one.

Now if Subaru or someone else would come up with an engine upgrade kit for old EJ25 powered cars that would transplant the current 2.4 engine out of the BRZ into the current wiring in old EJ series bodywork...I'd love an FA24 in my old 2005 wagon. No this is not an attempt to hijack the thread... :) - I loved the edgy-ness of my old 2009 WRX but I never thought there was quite enough effort put into ECU programming from the factory, and the aftermarket equipment and maps available didn't add in any safeguards to protect the engine if something wasnt quite right...it always felt like I was driving a hand grenade with the pin pulled. The newer ones I hope have more safeguards built in to help the engine stay together than the old EJs did, but I have no way of knowing that other than what little I have learned about the FA24 in my BRZ. That car is just brilliant and I can imagine this new WRX is probably just as much fun as my brz is but with the added joy of boost. Still, I think I prefer NA power over boosted...somehow it feels safer for the engine and is definitely easier to drive at the limit.
