looks like 28 F-Mod cars there from what I can tell, interested to see if they're all two stroke (which is more competitive in solo) or if there are any MC powered ones

I got a closer look at the Tesla Model S Plaid, too. They said they finished 5th in XA today, though the class wasn't built for the class (they normally run a street-tire focused unlimited class in California). What's their weakness? In their words: "4600 pounds with driver."

Just sharing this for JG’s benefit: Nathan Carlston, 1989 Toyota MR2, currently 18th in XB.

With the courses cold, it's time to socialize. There's no official party tonight, instead there are a bunch of informal ones springing up a various camps.

Any GR Corollas?  If so, I'm curious what class(es).

In reply to Jerry :

I see some GR Corollas in B Street and XA. You can track their times here: 2024 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships.

First runs are complete! Eric and I both DNF'd, but he was at least fast in the process. I'm experimenting with driving style trying to find the fastest way to run one of these cars.

Wow things ended up tight at the front of XA. And of the 15 trophy spots there's 10 different platforms represented, so I'm going to call that a successful ruleset. Nice job by Kyle Gottschalk sucking it up on his last run and cleaning up previous cone trouble to take the win in a 1995 Talon. I'm sure he'll take home a nice contingency check from Eagle.

Second runs are in! Eric's moved up to third, while I managed a clean run a few seconds off him. Starting to learn the car and course.

I'm not telling you how to run your magazine (in this moment I'm definitely telling you how to run your magazine)

There's a Plymouth Horizon in XA... He's not last. That dude deserves an interview/photos please (it'll be the Plymouth Horizon in the paddock)
