The 2.5L might have the reputation of reliability but doesn't it also have the reputation of particularly poor mpg for a vehicle of its size? Something like 22mpg average? I think the turbos return better mpg...but the turbo might call for Premium fuel.
I'm no help, but I saw a newer VW beetle the other day that had "Poorsche" written across the tail in Porsche script. Made me laugh.
Day2 with nb: headlights dont work and brake! Light won't go off. Always an adventure!
