had to go swap the EVO for sale tomorrow
I remember reading the original Ford GT40 was 40" tall. Just tiny. What's the height of the NSX?
..and how did you remove the stickers intact?

The official number for a 97-05 is 45.7". Mine is about 2" lower than stock. You look up at Camrys and are completely below the belt line of most small crossovers.

daily driving elise/mr2/nsx I am used to very low height cars
Took me total 11 hours to remove all stickers, intact, preserve them
nails + patience + razors + alcohol + mistresses hair dryer
Had to be done. Significant value of this car is its history and story

That's incredibly cool and about what I would expect from you, ha.
Just saw your previous post how you are keeping them in an album. What a neat compliment to that car's pedigree.

Haha thanks! OCD as always.
I think the car deserves it and the way the ex owner handled it, I should continue.
Although the car getting wet, being outside, and driven at night - already has violated how it lived its previous life!!
Congrats on the car! Just saw this and what a great read. I have an Elise as well and just added a C8 to the stable. Both mid-engine rwd and that's about where the comparisons end. Still haven't found anything that comes close to the steering feel of the Elise but so much to love about the C8. Would love to see how much the NSX differs. Enjoy, looks like you have some amazing roads out there!

Yay, another Elise owner.
I have had mine since new -
ordered - driven cross country.
I am over 137 cars in my lifetime- EVO 9 MR steering has been closest to Elise so far.
Enjoy that C8.
Midengine RWD is definitely my jam.

Evo for sale? :)
Also, beautiful car and story! Congrats and hoping for many happy miles in that perfect NSX!
In reply to JAdams :
Evo not really for sale as NSX and Evo has no overlap.
Having said that - EVO is gone. GRM friend took it
i know you're not a Savagegeese fan, but this video lets the engineers do all the talking, and its an awesome journey through the NSX development that you definitely should check out.

haha ya! There is a thread on this forum about it so I saw it
good video for a change!

I have been called far worse
First time in 15 years going to go to a model specific meet. Signed up for nsxfest in San Diego end of May. Feel like a teenage kid again
Upgraded EPS steering rack ... was pricey. But worth it. Fantastic.. changed the car.. how it should have come

My buddy let me drive one of his two NSXs, unfortunately it was his high-mileage "project car" that he got for relatively cheap. It's an automatic, so the performance was fairly underwhelming. But what a great car! It feels very modern and it drives great. The visibility is awesome compared to most new cars. All the better to see the other drivers giving the thumbs up because it's a NSX!
I think getting rid of all the stickers was a good move, your car looks excellent.
