I was wondering out loud a few weeks ago about a lightweight RWD LeMons car. After a 12 hour round trip to Midland last week we now have this.
Here's the ad:
SCCA ITS class track car. Stripped and caged 86 Mazda RX-7 turbo 2.
-coil overs
-roll cage
-safety harness
-thick ground control sway bars
-lsd differential
-big 4 piston calipers w/ stainless lines
Ive got the log book if you want it
car is a rolling chassis. No motor, no trans.
I could easily part this car out and make a few grand but I would much rather see it go to a good home and tear up the asphalt again. Ive simply got too many other projects that take priority.
*THIS IS THE LAST TIME I AM LISTING THE CAR. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED CALL ME ASAP. I NEED TO GET IT GONE AND ITS ABOUT TO GO TO THE CRUSHER IF YOU DONT RESCUE IT*****
$400 later and it's mine all mine. It's getting a 302, a T5, and losing as much weight as we can get out of it.
Score, and small block Mazdas have done well in the Challenge
you can run something that good in a lemons race?
that is awesome. there isn't really another word for it.

Maybe we get laps. It's not like we're gonna win. The receipt is written for the safety equipment with a free car. Typically, that's how used LeMons cars are sold. I have a $75 302 for it, a free T5... Good documentation, and a good personality are the keys.

niiiiiiiice, as long as they ;let you run it on the track thats all that would matter to me. I wouldn't focus on winning either, I just wanna race lol.
hoping next year will be my year for either the challenge or lemons/chumpcar
I'm also interested in that rally looking thing parked across the alley-way.
