What are these? Because I kind of want one to paint one of those tobacco advertisements that used to be on barns on the side of it.

Divco Milk Delivery trucks.
Paint a milk logo, not smokes.
The first one is carrying the remains of this type of scheme:
In reply to The0retical:
Ooooooooh, Divcos. Another one of those vehicles that I really want but have no idea what I'd do with it.

It's exactly what I'd do if I had the means to achieve it - no plan, no goals, just "oh, that's cute/cool/obscure/needs rescued/etc." Then drag it home and add it to the collection, knowing in all likelihood I'd never get around to touching it ever again. An automotive hoarder, plain and simple.

Still in for info about this one. My google-fu is weak today.

What if we made this the GRM Midwest Meetup for the year? I wanted to plan another, this seems like a cool thing to do. Even if your not interested in buying, there's a lot of cool stuff to look at.
In reply to EvanB:
Yeah, pretty sure it's a Pulse. Seen a couple of those in my area. Pretty strange.
In reply to John Welsh :
The Divco just teased out my desire my to own an HY van too. I might have to look around for one. No idea what I'd do with it but I want one now.

Put a turbo Hayabusa motor in it driving the rear wheels. Just because.
Enough Studebakers to keep the Nelsons going for decades. I'm a fan of small cars and there's a ton of interesting ones in there...Nash Metropolitans, Morris Minors, 2CV Citroens, King Midgets, Renault Dauphine, early Hondas, a 1st gen Corolla wagon.......

Simultaniuosly, at the south end of Norwalk at Summit Motorsports Park will be The Blue Suede Cruise and drag event featuring cars older than 1972.
If anyone is planning an overnight stay for this two day auction, the simplistic and likely outdated All American Inn will put you within walking distance of the auction.

Depending on how many combloc car weirdos show up you might be able to get it for under $2017.

Well how about I make a formal announcement and we can move forward. With as many people who participated last year, this could work out well with having enough of a heads up.
I worked on a Divco restoration in the 70's, once was enough. A Grumman or better yet a Boyertown and I'd get suckered in though. Good thing I'm far away with too many projects already.

Yes, go ahead with a Midwest Meet announcemnet.
I can offer some room for camping at my place weather it be trailer or tent for anyone interested in overnight stay.
Due to Cedar Point Amusment Park, there is no such thing as a cheap hotel room in this entire area in July.
I do know someone locally that does a real nice Airbnb for a modest, whole house, that sleeps 5-8 people for $200 per night on a 2 night minimum.
Did you guys dig through the pics? There is some really cool stuff that doesn't have its own pictures and one lonely shot of a yummy 912.
