We have been using my extra/super cab f350 (2005) to pull a camping trailer and my kids sit in the back. It was pointed out to me that there are no headrests and I found that ford made some that bolt into some of the newer trucks.
wondered if anyone might have some they don't need or if anyone can keep an eye out in the junkyard for some?
i'd love three of them and will happily pay for them and for your time.

What years do these headrests come from?
I see they are for your 2005 but were they offered in 2005? Or, are you retro fitting from another year? If so, what years?
I was curious. In this video guy uses 2016 headrests on 2005 but it ain't perfect since the headrest assembly forces the seatback forward.
I'm not sure what years these came in but it would be a retrofit into mine I think they started around 2010....
That video actually inspired me to get them. BUT... My impatience has reared its head and I watched the first 4 seconds, skipped ahead to see what he used and then watched the last 10 seconds where he showed it all together and stopped before hearing about how the seat doesn't fit anymore!
well, I think I could (and would) remove the seat cover, cut/notch/reweld the frame and install from there.
It might not work but hopefully I can find a handful of these cheap enough to make the experiment worthwhile.
So, I looked up 2016 F-250 rear seat on car-part.com. Seems that $289 will get you the whole rear vinyl seat from a 2016 in Bakersfield. My guess is that seat fits your 2005 but the seatback is notched already in the way you would need to retrofit. Added addition of center 3 point belt ( but no head rest.) If you go that route, be sure to be explicit of needing the whole back seat including the headrests that are mounted to the cab wall. The center seat belt will come with it. Your existing side belts will work.
I bet there is low demand for rear seats. Many get taken out and discarded for additional storage space.

Well now, that's impressive! I'm out of town but will look into that one when I return.
the shoulder harness is another item my wife mentioned we should have.
can't thank you enough!
Some more picture searching on car-part seems to indicated that 2011 was the first year for the headrests.

Be careful searching car-part for this seat. I clearly ask the site for F250 Super Duty rear seat and it keeps returning F150 in the results list too. Some things might be cross compatible but I really think the cab configurationism were different enough from F150 and F250 by this point that in no way would I expect a F150 rear seat to fit a F250.
For people without a rear seat headrest option, how safe would velcoing boating throwable foam cushions directly onto the rear window be?
