ISO indy shop in NoVa area to do a 130k service on a 12' JSW TDi.  Timing belt, water pump etc.  Lindsey VW just got back to me over the phone saying parts and labor would be $4322.  That's mighty expensive, and no way I'm risking getting ripped off by them, even if that was a misquote.

Any help is appreciated.

There is a New German Performance location down that way. Enthusiast focused but able to tackle this as well

I was going to contact them today about some ECM and DSG tuning as it was, it didn't occur to me to see if they'd perform this maintenance as well.

Eurowerkes in Falls Church, outside of Scotto at NGP, I'm not the biggest fan of theres. (I wouldn't want tech who makes less than $20 an hour doing a timing belt on my inference engine, and that doesn't speak to the tech's ability, but to a business model and a risk/reward factor).

You might look at AutoScandia?

Not that I've been to them myself; but if you were looking at Lindsey...  they're in the same area.  So, they might be worth a quote.
