Looking at the Launch Tech crp123 or Autel AL619

Both seem comparable, just wondering if someone has used both and could compare them.

I've never used a Launch Tech, but I have an Autel and love it. It's way better than most of the OBDII scanners I've used before.

Launch tech cpr 123 or the 129 if you can float it.

Are there any bi-directional ones of there? I have had the need to do some things lately that require this. I don't mind paying a bit for a much better one.

I just bought a Launch Tech cpr 123 and it works great. No experience with the Autel.

Seems both are good units and people who have them seem to like them. I guess it's a toss up at this point as both seem equal.

The added features of the 129 don't have added value for me as I have no need for them. I would probably have to jump to the full on scanner at $1000 for it to be useful, but I won't use it enough to learn to properly use it or get enough value out of it.

So what is the advantage of this over one of the $20 scanners that you use with an app?

ABS and airbag capability.

I haven't used either scanner myself, but can speak for Autel customer service when you have a problem, they will help you out and take care of it. I use a Maxisys Pro at work and its awesome. I rarely use our Snap On Solus anymore.
