Europa for sure, although I would really like a Scorpion.

Europa > Scorpion > 914 > X1/9

I'd take the Lancia, but then I'd like to see a matchup of the X1/9 vs the Lancia, I'd say that's a more toe-to-toe bout...

The Scorpion, or Montecarlo as it was known in most other markets, was originally designed by FIAT as a big brother to the X 1/9, but it wound up as a Lancia instead.

I know

The Lancia is just a bigger X-1/9. Literally, nearly the same underneath, just bigger and the Scorp's styling isn't as pretty as the sexy exxie's.

Given the choice, I'd have to break with Fiat and go with the Lotus.

On track, I want a Europa. On the street, I'd prefer a Scorpion. I know I can fit in a Scorp comfortably. I've seen a Europa and am not sure I'd fit at all.

Europa is so cute! Looks like you could trip over one. But I had never even seen a Scorpion. Lancia for me.

Personally, tough call. I remember seeing those Lancias at The Glen when I was in like sixth grade.

While the 037 is certainly an evolution of the older Scorpio/monte, the latter will do just fine. As for the comparison with an X1/9, I've been chased by a Scorpion in the hills and let me tell you, both of these mid-engine beasts are pretty close. With the larger engine bay, the scorpion takes advantage of the larger displacement DOHC from the factory. Maybe that's the only advantage I see over the smaller displacement SOHC in the X1/9. But the a gain, I have an imagination and vision....
